Archeologists recognize civilizations by the artifacts they leave behind, so, for example, they presume the period of Ancient Greek civilization and Ancient Roman civilization was Hellenic civilization, which confuses two separate civilizations as one. Whereas my definition reveals the Ancient Greeks and the Ancient Romans were two separate civilizations with very different language and understanding, even though there were some similarities in life-style and religion.
Archeology cannot recognise a civilization because civilization is not artifacts but is understanding, which is language.
