Minutes Monday 6^th October 2008 -7.30 PM

Present: K. Brownhall S.Wilson, M Cameron, D Greenup, C Jeitz, L Krog, I Grundy, K Grundy

Apologies: M. Atkinson, M. Mittlestadt.

Previous Minutes: Read by K Brownhall, accepted as read moved by K.Brownhall, seconded by Ivan Grundy. Carried.

Treasurer's Report: Read by D. Greenup, accepted as read moved by D. Greenup, seconded by Sue Wilson. Carried.

Correspondence: Alf Smerdon's appointment as the 2009 Show announcer will be confirmed by a letter sent to him.

General business.

Cash in Safe: will be deposited as society funds.

Produce Section Stewards & Co-Ordinator: Sue Wilson will approach Tim Cockrill and Donna Tanner.

Melbourne Cup: The venue will be the Golf Club. Kylie Brownhall will approach G Sturgess about the television reception

Maree Cameron will organise refreshments, Alexis, Jessica, Nadine and Taylor to assist, and a baby sitter appointed.

Courtesy Bus: L. Krogg will supply the bus to carry patrons from the Cultural Centre to the Club; it will leave at 10 AM

Advertising: K. Brownhall will arrange mention in the Jandowae Magazine; ABC Radio nad place posters on the Community Bill Board and around town.

Meeting closed at 8.35 PM.
