A French hunting lodge, stolen in France and destined to be placed on one of Goring's hunting estates, three medieval statues, valued at 16,000, 17,000 and 18,000 reichsmarks Gritzbach [adjutant to Goring] had telephoned Schmitt and mentioned the statues in case he was at a loss as to what to give.
