Numbers were down for Australia Day because there were fewer locals and less people involved with the Citizenship ceremony than we expected.
Peter has the name of a painter to contact re. the school railings.
The wheels for the old wagon are still away being repaired.

General Business:
Heather explained the difficulty she was having with the Acquittal form. As Peter is to pick up the brochures from Toowoomba next week the form will be completed after that. Brochures are also to be placed with Jade.
Ros is finding the interview with Mavis Hoskin and Peter will refine the interview. Mary Hamilton is yet to be interviewed for her memories of the early days in Jandowae.
Jade has permission to rework Jack Haselwood's book on Jandowae. Jade has found the original spelling of Jandowae in 3 newspapers from 1863, 64 and they all spelt it as Jandowae.
The Community Heritage Grant for collections was discussed and Jade will pass on the information to Kelly Muller who is interested in preserving the Light Horse memorabilia.
The ramp needs to be oiled once again.
The History walk in the centre of the town was discussed. A statue of the Little Digger may be placed there. Peter is to see Celeste to see what plans the Business Group has for this area.
Jade is to set up a facebook page for the Jandowae Athlone Cottage Heritage Precinct. This will advertise what our facility is about and posts can be shared to the community group. Jade will manage the site. Opening hours will be listed and suitable photos will be used.
Peter bought a battery for the mower.
A police report was made as coffee cups, cigarette butts and a pressure pack of cream were left on our front verandah. Attempts were made to break the padlock on the front door.
Jade has the old NAB bank open from Wednesday to Sunday from 11am to 3pm.
