Business Arising:
The Council decided that 'Ned Kelly' needs to be erected between the wagon and the garden with the bottle tree.
Anthony Bowman is to do the slab and Morriseys to supply the fence.
It was decided that it was too difficult to acquire the indigenous flag as we would also have to display the Qld flag so we are not going ahead with acquiring the indigenous flag.

General Business:
Australia Day Breakfast 2023 — Peter thanked Ian for acting as President for the morning. The Brigalow Balladiers once again entertained with their music and David Tuppach coordinated the fishing and games for the children. The men from the Junior Jackaroos Football club cooked the barbeque. A big thanks to all for their contributions.
Keith Bartley has booked the precinct for Thursday, March 16th at 11.30 am as there will be a Vintage Car Rally in town. There will be approximately 21 cars and 40 people.
Beryl has had trouble with grubs blocking the sprinklers so Peter will see if he can obtain a filter to rectify this problem.
Because of recent vandalism in town the Committee is to look into improving our security. Better locks are to be attached to the school doors. Peter to see Ron Woods regarding this matter.
A birthday card was presented to Beryl and she was congratulated on her contributions to Athlone cottage through her gardening and catering expertise.
