Minutes Of Meeting Held On 12/8/23

Peter welcomed all present to the meeting and thanked members for their attendance.

Present: Peter & Grace, Heather & Ian, Beryl, Doreen, Margaret.

Apologies:

Previous Minutes: The minutes of the previous meeting were read by Heather. Beryl moved and Doreen seconded that the minutes be accepted as read. Carried

Business Arising:

• Ned Kelly has been installed.
• Ian to collect the pipe from Dalby.
• Ian and Peter have installed the blind to protect the displays in the school room.
• Michael Wood fixed the light on the Shearer's Quarters.
• Plough is yet to be secured.
• Doreen has restored some of the old readers.

Correspondence: Inwards: Robyn Ellis (Caravan Club visit November), Wambo Wind Farm Newsletter.
Outwards: Peter's reply to Caravan Club.
Heather moved that the inwards be received, and the outwards be endorsed. Seconded Grace Carried

Treasurer's Report: Cr. Balance $2219.84.
Income:— $100 donation from Caravan Club, Donation $5.30 (August), Donations $76 (June)
Expenditure — Peter Warrego Water $93.81, Peter Andersons for blind $207, Bank Charges $14.40.
Margaret moved the report of Income and Expenditure be adopted, seconded by Grace.Carried

General Business:

• Heather will apply to the Wambo Wind Farm for a grant to line the second room in the Shearer's Quarters in order that we can create another display area. The room would need to be lined and painted.
• We would also like to seal the store-room on the school back verandah.
• Peter is to obtain quotes from local builders.
• Grace suggested that in future we charge $8 per head for supplying Morning Tea to caravan club members.
• Beryl requested that Peter approach the Council to look after our grounds and gardens. Our members feel that because of our ages it is too big a job for us.
• Thanks to Beryl for all her work in the grounds .

Next Meeting: will be the Annual General Meeting to be held on 14th October . Heather is to approach Peter Saxelby to chair the meeting.
