Minutes Of Meeting Held On 14/11/20

Peter welcomed all present to the meeting.

Present: Peter Ireland, Ian & Heather, Margaret Atkinson, Jan Bickerton

Apologies: Doreen Beard, Beryl King, Diane Wood

Previous Minutes: The minutes of the previous meeting were read by Heather. Margaret moved and Ian seconded that the minutes be accepted as read. Carried

Business Arising:

• Peter sprayed the clover
• Wayne Giles mowed the lawn
• The canite is to attached to the new notice board.

Correspondence: Inwards: acceptance of nomination WDRC Australia Day Awards, WDRC acceptance of grant for new lawn mower.
Outwards: Office of Fair Trading, ATO gst return
Heather moved that the inwards be received and the outwards endorsed. Seconded by Margaret Carried

Treasurer's Report: Credit Balance $4513.59; term Deposit:$11,340.15
Income:— WDRC $3,200 mower, Memberships $35, WDRC $1400 Hardship Insurance grant.
Expenses — Jan Mulch $45, Office Fair Trading $56.60, Peter for canite $93.50
Margaret moved her report of Income and Expenditure be accepted, seconded by Jan.Carried

General Business:

• Gordon Jeitz's wool press has been offered to the precinct. Peter will inspect it. It may be able to go on the veranda at the Shearer's Quarters.
• The fire extinguisher on the school has been vandalised. Scott Bateman will inform the Council.
• A blind is to be obtained for the northern window in the school.
• The cabinet is to be finished prior to Australia Day. Diane Wood will display the Jandowae East School memorabilia in it.
• We will have our normal Australia Day Breakfast but we have not applied for the official breakfast.
• Jan has shown several lots of people through the precinct during covid.

Next Meeting: will be held on Wednesday 6/01/21 to organize Australia Day. Jan will find some helpers to help with the dusting at a date to be notified.
