Treasurer's Report: Margaret presented her report. Cr. Balance 1363.36 — Income $440 from WDRC for morning tea, Donations $380.50. ($36 on hand) Expenditure $1424.60 Trilogy Insurance. Cr. Balance $759.26. Term Deposit $11,384.03 matures 12.10.22.
General Business:
Australia Day Breakfast 2023 — we need to look at increasing the charge for the breakfast as this year we ran at a loss. Heather is to inform WDRC that we will be willing to host the next Australia Day breakfast.
The items stored under the cottage are to be disposed of. Old timber slabs are to be given to the Men's Shed.
Memberships totalling $16 were received from Irelands, Galls, Doreen, Margaret, Beryl.
The Ned Kelly statue will be placed between the Wambo log and the corner.
The Council is to deliver our section of the old Wambo table.
Ian suggested we apply for a grant to erect an aboriginal flag. We need to recognize the past in order to heal the future. We may be able to obtain some information about our local indigenous community. David Littleproud is to be asked to provide the flag.
Our next meeting will be held in early December at a date to be advised.
