Minutes Of Meeting Held On 12/3/22

Peter welcomed all present to the meeting and thanked members for their attendance.

Present: Peter Ireland, Ian & Heather Gall, Margaret Atkinson, Beryl King, Doreen Beard

Previous Minutes: The minutes of the previous meeting were read by Heather. Beryl moved and Margaret Seconded that the minutes be accepted as read. Carried

Business Arising:

• Diane Wood still needs to be contacted re. the Jandowae East Memorabilia.
• The local fire brigade did not place the extinguisher on our building.
• Foot valve has been fixed.
• An email is to be sent to the Junior Rugby League thanking them for cooking with the barbeque on Australia Day.

Treasurer's Report: Income — Donations $33.85, Australia Day $196
Expenses — Glen Heathwood $45, Australia Day Spar $39.12, Cleaning & Catering $20.45.
Balance Opening: $3802.81— Closing: $3928.09; Term Deposit $11,384.03.
Margaret moved her report of Income and Expenditure be adopted, seconded by Peter.Carried

General Business:

• Rod Dolly is to do the painting for Gary Baker.
• Sunday 20th March — Drysdale bus tours will be visiting the precinct at 2.30pm. Heather and Ian will supervise the visit.
• Glen has been tending to the gardens. The Geisha Girl shrub needs attention and the paths have been sprayed. Peter is to purchase sugar cane mulch and fertiliser from Elders.
• The heritage precinct will be open for Timber Town Weekend in June.

The next meeting Saturday, 14th May at 9.30am.
