There is concern that many adults are not wearing bicycle helmets when using their bikes. Not only is this an offence but sets a bad example for our youth.
The skate park has become a venue for unacceptable behaviour. Mark will be speaking to all parents of the children involved to halt this trend.
Any resident who has a visitor who becomes drunk and disorderly should organise a place for them to sleep or transport back to their homes. The Police do not provide a taxi service.
A common telephone scam at the moment is someone pretending to be from the Tax Office making threats to people demanding they pay a fine or tax bill. If you get one of these calls, say nothing and hang up.
To contact Police only dial 000 in an emergency, otherwise dial 131444. Please do not go to the Police house at night unless you are in imminent danger.

The painting of the reflective house numbers is still awaiting a response from Western Downs Regional Council
Seniors Week is on the 13th to 21st August, and Corrina will organize an event to recognize the needs of Seniors.
Taralga management promise a sign will be erected at the entrance to Taralga in Myall St, displaying unit numbers.
A lecture on "Online Safety" will be presented at the next meeting, which will be advertised in the town and the school magazine.
